An Ode to Leela

Born on the 25^th of November.
A day of happiness, a day to remember.

This was the day a beautiful flower took form.

The day an angel named Leela was born.

As a gift she came to this human kind.

A girl of heart and a stable mind.

The glow on her face like a diamond’s shine.

She descended from heaven as a soul divine.

With the smell of lily and touch of love,

She came as a blessing from the gods above.

A girl full of love and innocent charm.

She will mesmerise you by her looks so calm.

Her stunning beauty will blow you insane.

She is a brilliant mix of beauty and brains.

The dimple on her cheek will stupefy.

And her smile will kill you before you die.

My friendship with her has seen ups and downs.

Days of joy and smiles and frowns.

In numerous fights I have wasted years away.

But now I come to realize your true value today.

And now my love I am here to stay.

This whole world can try their might if they may.

Yet beside you, you shall find me standing by.
In me, you will see your able ally.

Because for you I am here even after I die.

And live as eternal friends, My Leela and I.
